Once confined to game shops and hobby basements, Warhammer 40,000 has transformed into a pop culture phenomenon. Over the past few years, Games Workshop has expanded its reach into video games, animation, and publishing—culminating in a major deal with Amazon to produce a live-action Warhammer series.

The project, currently in development, will star Henry Cavill, a self-professed Warhammer fan and former Superman actor. His involvement has sparked renewed global interest in the IP. Meanwhile, streaming services and YouTube channels now feature official lore videos, cinematic trailers, and even fan-made animations, introducing the world of the Imperium, Chaos, and Xenos to new audiences.

Games Workshop has also embraced a more inclusive strategy, revamping its branding, rulesets, and beginner kits to welcome new players. The result? A growing community of hobbyists, from seasoned strategists to casual fans who enjoy painting miniatures or reading the Black Library novels.
